My Addiction to DRUG

I have always wondered what it feels like to take drugs. Wondered. Yes, my curiosity sometimes takes everything else to a different level. But this question has always been a fascination of mine. Why do people take drugs? Why won't I? haha, naah just curious but not enough to try it. 

Anyways, I am very honored to share a piece written by my older sister. It has always been a fav!

Perfect Drug

It cannot be bought 

but acquired through time

Something to be savored

'cause this drug is fine

It will give you illusions

and the euphoria you need

you'll get more of this drug 

and you'll find it indeed

It's takes a special person

to give you that high

but finding that person 

is something 

i'll try

It's a chemical reaction 

as simple as a hug

with no special additives 

'cause this drug is LOVE

Truly Iam in great disgrace

for those moment can never be replaced

Dealing with my private hell

Personal sadness to you I cannot tell

You always gave me faith in breaking

my fears and hate

Suggesting clever reasons

to rise above lies and treasons

This was a poem given to me by a very close friend on graduation day March 28,2011. I really treasure this poem like how I treasure my friends. My countable friends.

Though friends differ for many reasons, boundaries, and status in life, still there is an unbreakable bond between them.

Not seen by the naked eyes, but felt by the heart.

Cristine-chan , Yuki, Kim (i hope you're happy in heaven ^_^), and all my friends, you all taught me valuable lessons in life, love, and friendship! LET'S ROCK THE WORLD...!

Parade to Greatness

Though the day started with a not so good weather, Mr.Sun  still blessed the land with it's rays.Shining above the students of Cebu Normal University, gathering in the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Whether it was under the College of Teaching Education, who are wearing shades of blue t-shirt, College of Arts and Sciences, who we're wearing red, College of Nursing, who we're wearing they're college t-shirt,  even the ILS (Integrated School of Learning), who are on they're school and P.E. uniforms, or even the Professors who are proudly wearing they're Centennial t-shirt, all are present.

Why wouldn't they, when the school is celebrating it's 100th year founding anniversary.

Though everybody know, that this year is really CNU's 109th year, still as what Dr. Lopez said in a press con held in Tandang Sora Hall,''It's not easy to rewrite history, but we simply want to correct it.''

The parade started from Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and ends of course in front of University. Where the seal has been covered and so is the gate.

Everybody waited for all the five floats to reach the University, courtesy of the respective colleges. It was a perfect timing for some late professor and also for the presiding priest, to come. Gov. Gwen Garcia was also there, to take part of the event, as a honored-guest and an alumna.

Everything was smooth going after the last float came. Everyone we're already excited as the Ribbon-cutting ceremony was about to be executed.

So now it's official. The Cebu Normal University which they all thought was founded on the year 1915, has been corrected and now bearing with it's new logo with the real founding year in it. It stands as one of the most oldest Universities in the Philippines.
